The Cotswold Home is situated in a beautiful area close to the lovely town of Burford, The home offers the highest levels of care provided by our team of experienced and committed staff.
Our 51 ensuite bedrooms are equipped to the highest standards and we provide both residential and nursing care, on a permanent or short stay basis as well as end of life care.
About the Role
We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Job Title joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:
Preparation and service of meals to residents
Ensure cleanliness of kitchens and equipment
Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education Level : Essential: Good general education Professional Qualification : Essential: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake the same. Desirable : NVQ II
Specialist Experience : Desirable: Previous experience in a Care Home Environment Previous experience in a similar role.
Physical Requirements : In good general health, physically and mentally fit to meet the requirements of the role.
Other Specific Attributes : ▪ Ability to work on own initiative. ▪ Good team player ▪ Calm, professional and mature approach. ▪ Good communication skills. ▪ Empathy with older people.
Prior experience is desirable but not needed, as we will give you all the training you need to be successful in this role.
