Summary

Customer Service Advisor - Telephone-Based
Location: BD6, Bradford
Hours: Full-time - 8-hour shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate / October
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

I am currently representing a well-regarded client in the BD6 area of Bradford who is looking to appoint a confident and reliable Customer Service Advisor to join their busy contact team. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for the right individual, with a permanent position available following a successful temporary period.

Please note: This is a full-time, ongoing role and not suitable for short-term or stop-gap candidates.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service over the telephone, handling a variety of customer enquiries in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. Working within a supportive and well-structured team, you will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring queries are resolved accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling incoming calls from customers with professionalism and confidence

  • Accurately logging and updating customer records using internal systems

  • Providing clear information and resolving enquiries within agreed timeframes

  • Managing your time effectively to meet call targets and response deadlines

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments

Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Confident telephone manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management and organisational ability

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • IT literate - confident with basic computer systems and software

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role (telephone-based preferred)

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or similar database tools
