Your new company are an independent civil and structural engineering consultancy, offering their clients bespoke and innovative solutions to engineering problems with a Director-led approach. Established 5 years ago, they are quickly growing into a household name in the Northwest, offering a refreshing and progressive approach to staff welfare and engineering excellence.
The head office is on the Wirral, however they employ Manchester-based staff and as such are considering opening a south Manchester office which you could work from.
Your new role
Your new role as a Civil Engineer or Senior will be primarily to support the civil engineering team with the design and delivery of your infrastructure projects, across the residential, commercial, industrial, MOJ, aviation and leisure sectors. This will include preparing drainage strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and S104/106 applications.
There will also be opportunity to gain experience in roads and highways design using Civil3D, completing S278/38 applications.
What you'll need to succeed
- You should have a minimum of 2 years consulting experience in the UK
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, and drainage software (Microdrainage/Infodrainage/Causeway)
- Experience preparing drainage strategies, FRA's and S104/106 applications
- Earthworks and highway design experience is desirable (Civil 3D/PDS)
