Summary

Summary of main duties: Participate in management of inpatients Mange day care activity Organisation of investigations and follow-up test results After appropriate training: Perform bone marrow aspirates and trephines, and lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemotherapy Prescribe chemotherapy Dependent on experience: o Laboratory role: Report films, CSF and marrows MONDAY: am Handover meeting Inpatient/Day unit pm Procedure list/In-patient/Day unit TUESDAY: am Interventional radiology list (8.15 am start) Inpatient/Day unit pm Inpatient/Day unit Clinical Care Meeting (monthly) WEDNESDAY: am Kamrans day care ( 8.15 am start) Procedure list/In-patient/Day unit pm 1.00 pm Psychosocial meeting 2.00 pm x-ray meeting (SPA) 3.00 pm Morphology review session THURSDAY: am Interventional radiology list (8.15 am start) Neuro Oncology MDT MDT meeting and ward round pm Chemotherapy writing/Kamrans Day care FRIDAY: am Inpatient/Day unit pm Management/audit/SPA
