Used to undertaking manual work outside, in all types of weather?
Available full time immediately?
Work with York Limited are looking for Waste Loaders! This is a temporary, full time (37 hours a week) role for up to 3 months, with the potential to go permanent.
Pay rate is £13.21 per hour.
No previous waste loading experience is needed as training will be given for Waste Loaders but you MUST;
A) be able to provide two references from previous employers. one of which needs to be your most recent employer. Giving their name, company, company address, telephone number and email address. Please make sure that your referees know you are applying.
B) be available for an induction immediately and to start immediately after your induction. Without the induction you will be unable to undertake the role.
This role requires you to;
collect household and garden waste emptying wheelie bins and recycling boxes
walk long distances on the rounds (10/12 miles a day)
carry out lifting and bending
be reliable and work outside in all weathers
work between 7am – 3pm (Monday - Friday)
be polite and offer good customer service to the public
PPE clothing will be provided. The depot is situated near Morrsions & Lidl York (off James Street) and you will need to arrive there each morning, there is no parking on site.
