Summary
Crown Engineering Services Ltd, Dundee are looking for an experienced Tig Welder to join part of their small team. Must have driving licence.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Prepare materials for welding, including cutting metal components to appropriate size and shape.
Set up welding equipment, including gas tanks, torches and regulators.
Perform welding activites using the Tig welding process.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when welding.
Requirements:
Fully qualified in Tig/Stick welding techniques.
Ideally experienced in Tig/Stick welding for minimum 2-3 years.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
High attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
