We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver (3.5T) on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role involves delivering fruit to schools, with an average of 50 drops per day. This is a full time role which
What the job involves:
- Driving a 3.5T van and carrying out daily multi-drop deliveries to schools.
- Unloading and delivering fruit - heavy lifting is required as drivers unload themselves.
- Starting work at 4:00am.
- Working term time only - but you'll be paid all year round (52 weeks), including school holidays. 39 weeks operational and 13 weeks non operational.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
- Someone comfortable with early starts and working independently.
- Good time management and reliability.
- Physically fit for manual handling and unloading.
- FLT licence is a bonus (but not essential).
- £32,000 per year / £12.35 per hour.
