Job Title: Workshop Controller
Location: Mansfield
Salary: OTE £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30- 6pm Saturdays on rota 1 in 6 Paid as Overtime x1.5

As a Workshop Controller, you’ll be the driving force behind the efficiency and productivity of the workshop team. You’ll coordinate the flow of work, allocate jobs to technicians, and ensure all repairs and servicing are carried out to the highest standard—on time and to brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control
- Allocate jobs to technicians based on skillset and availability
- Monitor productivity and implement measures to maximise output
- Liaise with service advisors and parts departments to maintain smooth workflow
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and manufacturer standards
- Mentor and support technicians, driving performance and development
- Handle escalated technical or customer queries professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller / Manager
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and servicing
- A professional, customer-focused approach
