Are you someone who thrives on turning data into decisions?

Do you enjoy building dashboards, solving problems with data, and helping others understand what the numbers are really saying?

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our IT team and take ownership of our reporting infrastructure, shape how data is used across the organisation, and deliver insights that drive smarter decisions.

If you're looking for a role where your technical skills translate into real-world outcomes, this could be your next move.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and enhance dashboards and reports to support business needs.

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.

- Support the integration of AI, machine learning and predictive analytics.

- Support the development of data warehouse.

- Educate and empower colleagues to use data effectively.

- Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for a wide range of stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, statistics, data science) or unrelated degree with 3+ years' experience.

- Strong skills in SQL and Python, with experience in data warehouse technologies.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms and tools such as Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.

- A solid understanding of databases, data structures, and reporting best practices.

- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a structured problem-solving approach.

- Excellent communication skills to explain complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences.

- Strong organisational abilities, creativity in developing solutions, and the capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

In return, we offer:

- Generous holiday allowance (32 days, rising with service up to 40 days)

- Company pension (with employee contributions matched up to 12%)

- Flexible working hours

- Paid sick leave

- Free membership across all our centres with access to fitness classes, gyms, and swimming pools

- Opportunities for training, career growth and development

- Cycle-to-work scheme

- Access to discounts with a huge number of retailers (saving money in cinemas, restaurants, clothing, and electronics shops, on insurance and healthcare and much more)

This hybrid role involves a mix of office-based work at Meadowbank, home working, and occasional visits to other venues as required.

Closing date: Sunday, 12th of October
Assessment date: Thursday & Friday, 22nd and 23rd of October
