Summary

Role Overview
A national law firm renowned for its defendant litigation services is seeking a Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its specialist Local Government team within the Casualty department. Based in Birmingham, this role involves managing your own caseload of fast-track EL/PL and public sector liability claims, with exposure to multi-track matters depending on experience. The work includes public liability, highways, social care, and data breach claims.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

- Qualified Solicitor with 0–3 years PQE

- Experience handling or assisting on defendant EL/PL claims

- Working knowledge of highways, housing disrepair, and social care law

- Strong drafting and file management skills

- Ability to liaise confidently with clients, courts, and witnesses

- Keen interest in claims validation and public sector litigation

- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
