Summary
Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located in the Swanley area who are looking to recruit driven and professional Teaching Assistants.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Ideally you will have experience of working as an SEN Teaching Assistant with students and supporting children with ADHD, Down syndrome, and language difficulties.
We are also open to receiving applications from those with experience in transferable settings (tutors, sports coaches, music teachers etc)
Responsibilities of the role:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support.
• Supporting students from KS2-KS4
• Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
• Help prepare classroom resources and maintain classroom organisation.
• Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
The right candidate MUST have:
• Experience of working with children or young adults.
• Knowledge of working with a range of additional needs such as ASD and PMLD.
• A full RTW in the UK.
