Purovets are proud to be working with a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in beautiful Lancashire, now seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This practice has been serving the local community for over a century and blends traditional values with modern facilities. With digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house lab, they’re well-equipped to provide excellent clinical care. A dedicated OOH nursing team is also in place, ensuring high-quality round-the-clock support for patients.
Located in the heart of Lancashire, the practice is surrounded by stunning countryside, with easy access to both the Ribble Valley and the Pennines. It’s well placed for commuting from towns such as Burnley, Blackburn, Skipton, and parts of Greater Manchester.
Your role will include:
• Nurse consults, patient admissions/discharges
• Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing
• In-patient care and recovery
• Lab work and clinical admin
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
What they’re looking for:
• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• A positive, proactive team player with excellent communication skills
• Someone who enjoys using the full range of their nursing skills
The rota:
• Full-time, average 36.5 hours per week across 4–5 days
• Shared weekend rota (1 in 6, alternating between Saturday day shifts and full weekend shifts)
• Flexibility available to suit your lifestyle
