What skills and experience we're looking for
St Teresa’s RC Primary are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 2).This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust
The school is looking to appoint a kind and committed TA to join our school family. We are a small school in Little Lever, Bolton with an attached Resource Provision for children aged 4 – 11 with a diagnosis of autism/ severe learning difficulties. Our children describe our school as ‘a happy family where everyone is welcome.’ We have high expectations of all and work hard as team, supporting each other to keep our children at the centre of all we do.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience and/or training in working with young people with autism and/ or communication difficulties. The role will be based in the mainstream school.
We are seeking an individual who:
• Is kind and committed to ensuring all children feel safe, happy and valued.
• Has strengths in communication and can build strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents as partners.
• Has high expectations of all pupils and themselves.
• Has an understanding of working with children with autism and/or communication needs.
