Qualifications and training
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant administrative or business management qualification (desirable)
• First aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
Experience
• Experience of working in an office environment, ideally within a school or educational setting
• Experience managing or coordinating school trips or events (desirable)
• Experience in using and managing a school MIS system (preferably SIMS)
• Experience in line managing or supervising other staff (desirable)
Skills and knowledge
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with office software and MIS systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Knowledge of school administrative processes and statutory requirements (desirable)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Personal qualities
• Professional and approachable manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive
