Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Head of English to lead our dedicated team of English teachers.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of English. Through expert teaching and leadership, you will inspire our students and teachers, enabling our students to achieve excellent outcomes. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students, equipping them with the skills and characteristics needed to ensure they are at the front of the queue for the best apprenticeships and university places. At the UTC we are mindful of staff workload. The English department has a fully resourced curriculum and workload reduction is considered within our policies and procedures. This role is suitable for experienced teachers or those who are currently Second or Head of Department.
