Summary

Disability and Mental Health Advisor

Kingston University

We offer: £22 per hour, Full time role. (Temporary)

Position description / Job description

  • Provide administrative support to students.
  • Handle student queries efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive support plans for students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), mental health needs, and autism.
  • Collaborate closely with students to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Liaise with other university departments and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of support services.
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, education).
  • You have 2+ years of experience supporting students or individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • You are highly organized and possess strong attention to detail.
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with SpLD, mental health, and autism is highly advantageous.
  • You are immediately available to start.
