Summary
Your new company
Based in Renfrewshire, our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Fridays 9am-4pm. The role is office based and there is on-site parking. Due to the location of the role, it is advisable (although not essential) that applicants have access to their own transport. Study support can be offered if this is of interest to candidates.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a team, you will undertake a range of management accounting responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; preparation of monthly management accounts, assisting in budgeting & forecasting tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, variance & costing analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be a part-qualified accountant who is seeking to complete their professional qualifications. The IT system used is Sage 200 (and Excel) and experience of these systems is highly advantageous. The organisation operates within the manufacturing sector, and it is preferred but not essential that applicants have experience within this field. You will be an organised team player with a proactive approach to a varied workload. You will be a professional communicator as you will liaise with clients, colleagues and suppliers on a daily basis.
