Job Details:
- Location: Leeds - LS1 4AP
- Start Date: 27th October 2025
- End Date: 31st March 2026
- Pay Rate: £14.47ph - Weekly Pay
- Shifts/Hours: 9am-5pm - Monday-Friday - 37 hours per week
- Training hours: 9am-5pm (Full time in the office for at least the first 2-8 weeks)
- Job Type: Hybrid - 3 Days in the Office / 2 Days from Home (Once Training is Complete)
- Parking: There is no on site parking

Job description:
This is a multifunctional role and as an Administrative Officer you will support the Valuation Office Agency to improve its Data by researching domestic property information, investigating and updating domestic property records, including any impact on the property's Council Tax band.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate and update residential property data in line with agreed operating procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
- Make and evidence decisions that affect a property's Council Tax band
- Know when to escalate or seek support from the operational management team.
- Be flexible to undertake additional responsibilities to support the team to deliver priorities if required.
- Be able to undertake repetitive work, such as data input and investigation, whilst ensuring information is recorded accurately.
- Good all-round communication skills - written and verbal
- All issues and queries should be resolved where possible following department guidelines in a professional, tactful manner.
Personal Specification / Essential Criteria:
We are looking for people who are:
- Flexible and dedicated.
* Good at communicating with different people and listening.
* Computer literate and possess good keyboard skills.
* Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, including Teams (Training will be provided on other applications you will be working on) - Willing to learn
- Must be able to pass a BASIC DBS check and provide full right to work in the UK
