Development Opportunity
The Board of Trustees wishto provideopportunity foranenthusiasticLevel 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant.We are looking for a highly motivated candidateto become part of our school team. The post holderwill be initially based at Northmoor Academy.
The successful candidate will have:
NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experienceor willingness to work towards
A recognised Early yearsqualification
Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
Completion of Department for Education Teacher Assistant Induction Programme (orto complete within first term)
Awareness of the requirements of children with special needs
Experience of working with learning resources and helping with their preparation to support learning programmes
Experience ofworking with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school(including 2-year-old provision)
Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
Basic understanding of a child’s development and learning.
