Salary: Grade 6, £24,700 - £27,256 per annum.
37 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year
Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm Friday

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing learning across the school, providing advanced support to teaching staff and students. This will involve:
- Providing specialist support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with learning difficulties, behavioural, social, or physical disabilities. This may include implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and managing specific interventions.
- Attending to pupils' personal needs, including toileting, hygiene, dressing, eating, and administering minor medical support as required, whilst promoting independence.
- Contributing to the professional development of other teaching assistants and supporting staff.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a teaching assistant, possessing a comprehensive understanding of teaching and learning principles. A HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is essential. You will be a proactive, resilient, and compassionate individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and engaging all learners.
