Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay: £22.31 per hour
We are proud to be working with one of the biggest independent care providers in the UK. They are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Nurse to join their care home in Workington, Cumbria. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a highly respected organisation and make a real difference.
As a Senior Nurse, you’ll provide expert clinical leadership and person-centred care to meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents. You’ll:
- Lead and support the nursing team, acting as a role model and mentor
- Create a safe, supportive environment for residents with a range of complex needs
- Use professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions and oversee high standards of care
- Develop, review, and monitor tailored care plans and risk assessments
- Ensure safe administration of medication and compliance with clinical governance standards
- Support continuous improvement and training across the nursing team
- Current NMC registration (RGN)
- Proven experience in a Senior Nurse or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory frameworks (DoLS/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines)
- Experience producing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and clinical audits
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff
