Summary
Your primary duty is to ensure the safety and security of all persons and properties at Medway Maritime Hospital, and to promote a safe environment and reduce the fear of crime by providing a high profile visible presence. To enforce all policies and procedures of the Medway Maritime Hospital. To carry out patrols and provide escorts as requested. To undertake cash lifts ensuring that all departmental procedures are followed and PPE is worn. To respond to any security incident within an agreed time frame, including the use of reasonable force, if necessary and in line with Trust policy, law and legislation. When responding to an incident officers are required to seek clinical advice where available. To work as part of the Fire Response & Major incident teams, liaising with other departments and the Fire Brigade as appropriate and in line with trust policies.
