Salary: £25,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience + monthly performance bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

About the Role
My client is looking for a compassionate and driven individual to join their team as a Debt Management Collections Agent. In this role, you will support customers who are experiencing financial difficulties by helping them find realistic and sustainable solutions to manage their debt. You will play a key part in delivering fair outcomes and building trust with every conversation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via phone, email, and SMS to discuss outstanding debts
- Assess individual financial circumstances and agree on affordable repayment plans
- Provide clear, accurate information about debt management options and next steps
- Maintain detailed and compliant records of all customer interactions
- Ensure all activity is in line with FCA regulations and internal policies
- Identify and escalate vulnerable or complex cases appropriately
What They're Looking For
- Previous experience in debt management, collections, or financial services is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to customer conversations
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and care
- Familiarity with FCA guidelines and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
