About the role:
Join St David’s Hospice as a Shop Manager and help turn every purchase into vital care for local patients and families.
You’ll take the lead in creating a welcoming, organised and vibrant shop environment, working with a brilliant team of volunteers at both the Pwllheli and Porthmadog shops, and the Retail Support team to keep things running smoothly. Your creativity, people skills, and attention to detail will help maximise sales and raise awareness of the Hospice’s mission. We are looking for someone who will:
Create attractive merchandising and window displays to drive sales.
Oversee stock control and shop presentation.
Lead, support and motivate a team of volunteers.
Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Maintain health and safety standards and accurate admin records.
Act as an ambassador for St David’s Hospice in the community.
To do the role you'll need:
Previous retail experience and strong customer service skills.
Confidence in managing, motivating and leading a team.
Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
A clean driving licence and your own car (you may be asked to cover other shops).
Empathy for the Hospice’s work and alignment with our values.
