Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Gardener to join a team dedicated to the care and upkeep of high-end gardens and outdoor spaces. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled gardener who is passionate about horticulture and enjoys working across a variety of sites.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Gardener, your role will include:
Carrying out all aspects of horticulture, including specialised and general garden care
Lawn maintenance and treatment
Seasonal planting, ground clearance, and ongoing maintenance
Pruning, trimming, and tending to beds, borders, and containers
Maintenance and cleaning of water features and irrigation systems
Sweeping, cleaning, and upkeep of outdoor furniture and hard surfaces
Safe operation and basic maintenance of horticultural machinery (training provided)
Applying pesticides and herbicides (PA1 & PA6 desirable but not essential) with record keeping
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A recognised horticultural qualification (desirable)
Proven gardening experience at a high level (private gardens and/or commercial sites)
Knowledge of plants, lawns, and seasonal horticultural practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude
Good time management and ability to work under pressure
A cooperative, enthusiastic, and professional approach
Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to travel to multiple sites daily
High levels of energy, motivation, and reliability
