Special Needs Teaching Assistant needed in Salford with Step Teachers!
We're looking for someone who has a proven track record of successfully supporting children with additional needs.

This is a vacancy for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at an outstanding special needs school in Salford.
The basics:
· Role: Special Needs Teaching Assistant supporting pupils aged 9-19 with Autism & Complex Needs in a Salford special school.
· Start date: ASAP.
· Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
· Long-term with potential to become permanent.
· Pay: £95-110 per day DOE, paid via PAYE (no umbrella companies).
· Equal pay to permanent staff after 12 weeks.

· Free CPD with Step Teachers, The National College & Creative Education.
· £100 bonus for referring a friend*.
· DBS fee refunded after 20 working days.

How you'll help:
· Deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups.
· Assist pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, offering positive encouragement.
· Adapt your approach to meet each child's unique needs.
· Contribute to a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom.
· Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, SLT, families and external professionals.
· Record and report behaviours, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
