Summary

Children’s Home Registered Manager

Barnsley
Full-time, permanent | 39 hours/week
£46,000 to £56,981 per annum

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed children’s home in Barnsley, supporting young people aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural needs.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards. You’ll also lead and develop a team, manage budgets, and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience managing in children’s residential care
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children’s Residential (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s regulations
• Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• Driving licence and willingness to work flexibly
