Summary
Overview:
Assist in a small team to pack natural skin care products to go to outlets and customers.
This is a close nit team of ladies in Weedon who are looking for a like minded person to join us, working from 10am to 4pm with 30 minute lunch break each day.

Job Title: Packing Assistant
Reports to: Packing Supervisor / Operations Manager
Location: The Royal Ordnance Depot, Weedon
Purpose of the Role
The Packing Assistant supports the packing team by preparing, packing, and labelling products to Amazon fulfilment standards and company requirements. The role involves carrying out packing duties accurately, maintaining quality, and ensuring compliance with health and safety practices within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Pack, box, and label products to required specifications.
Follow packing instructions and meet deadlines set by the Packing Supervisor.
Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Carry out routine quality checks on packed products.
Use correct manual handling techniques and follow safety guidance at all times.
Ensure packing areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised.
Report any issues, damaged stock, or shortages to the Supervisor.
Assist with maintaining stock levels of packaging materials.
Support continuous improvement in packing processes when required.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others.
Comply with all Health & Safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Use safe manual handling techniques when lifting, carrying, or moving items.
Immediately report hazards, accidents, or near misses to the Supervisor.
Wear any protective equipment provided and use tools/equipment safely.
Keep the working area clean and free from obstructions.
Person Specification
Essential
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packing environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
English and Mathematics GCSE or Equivalent (Numerically confident and be able to read information quickly).
Desirable
Experience working in an Amazon fulfilment or e-commerce environment.
Knowledge of quality standards and checks.
Basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
