Summary
My client is looking for a Caretaker to work at a School around the Newton-le-Willows area. This is a Full-time Temporary Position to start ASAP initially until the end of October 2025, but it does have the potential to go on longer or become Permanent for the right person.
They work on a 3-week shift pattern, so you will be expected to work the following hours:
Week A: 6am-2pm
Week B- 8.30am-4.30pm
Week C- 11am-7pm
**YOU MUST Hold a Current Enhanced DBS to be considered for this position**
The role will involve:
Experience:
• Previous experience working as a School Caretaker
• Be honest, reliable, hardworking and flexible
• Hold a valid driving licence
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Have good DIY and premises skills is beneficial
• Be committed to achieving high standards in your work
• Have a good understanding of HSE
• Be willing to attend courses to develop your expertise
• Be able to deal with staff, pupils and the public in an efficient and friendly manner
• The use of your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to different sites to support activities.
