Summary
GI Group are currently recruiting Class 2 REFUSE Drivers for one of our many local authorities.
We are looking for Class 2 Drivers to work starting ASAP.
- AM Shifts [0630 - 1430] HRS
- Monday to Friday
- Average 8 hour shift
Pay & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday: - £15.58 - £17.46
Main Duties will include:
- Conducting Vehicle safety checks and road worthiness
- Lead a small crew, give instructions, and manage performance on daily routes
- Communicate clearly with team members and when engaging with the public.
The Candidate:
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and road safety in traffic environments
- Competent in using in-cab systems and software to record service delivery and incidents
- Flexible and physically fit, able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service, representing the Council positively.
