Summary
Temporary History Teacher – Immediate Start (Derby )
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school community in central Derby on a temporary basis to cover sickness leave.
Duration:
Starting ASAP, for 4 weeks until Half Term, with the potential for extension.
Role Details:
• Teaching History to students in Years 7 to 10
• Delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
• Supporting students' progress and maintaining a positive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly
Location:
A welcoming school based in the centre of Derby, with excellent transport links and a supportive staff team.
