Summary

TeacherActive is currently working in partnership with secondary schools across Bristol seeking reliable and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with SEN experience for immediate start roles. These schools value support staff who bring empathy, patience, and flexibility into the classroom—whether providing one-to-one support, assisting small groups, or supporting the whole class alongside the teacher.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a UK secondary school setting (KS3 and/or KS4)


  • A proactive, nurturing, and adaptable approach to supporting individual learning needs


  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and parents


  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, HLTA, or SEN-specific training) are desirable but not essential
