Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum
Hours: up to 37 hpw
We are looking for a trainee Maintenance Surveyor/Surveyor to assist in the management and delivery of quality maintenance and general property improvement works to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality to homes across Coastline’s housing stock or others as required. You will also be responsible for providing an accurate breakdown of costs, sourcing and specifying high-quality products and providing technical support across the team.
The ideal candidate will be committed to training and the development of sound knowledge of building construction, including diagnosis of defects and remedial actions in domestic dwellings. You will have some ability to estimate costs of repair and maintenance works with demonstrable project and contractor management experience. You will also have some understanding and experience of working on repairs, maintenance and refurbishment projects within social housing and experience in working with specialist consultants to problem-solve specific property-related issues.
