Summary
Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function, and symptom control Responsible to devise a formal plan for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care To liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy To ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources To ensure that up to date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with Professional and Charity standards, and that sensitive information is held securely To demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision. To share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks
