About the Role: Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Kinship Team within the Fostering Service. This is a vital role supporting the Commissioning & Corporate Parenting division, focused on delivering high-quality assessments and support to kinship carers.
We’re looking for a confident practitioner with proven experience in completing Form C and Form K assessments. You’ll be working closely with families and professionals to ensure safe, supportive placements for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake Form C and Form K assessments
Provide expert support and guidance to kinship carers
Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure best outcomes
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
Proven experience in kinship or fostering assessments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
