Summary
Support worker - Pembroke
We are a dedicated recruitment agency looking for caring and committed Support Workers to join our growing team in Pembroke!
Your day-to-day duties may include:
Personal Care: Supporting individuals with hygiene routines, dressing, and toileting when required.
Daily Living Support: Assisting with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry to help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Medication Support: Administering or prompting medication in line with individual care plans and training provided.
Community Access: Accompanying clients to social activities, day centres, appointments, or shopping to encourage active participation in the community.
Building Relationships: Establishing trust and promoting emotional wellbeing by offering companionship and encouraging communication.
Documentation: Keeping accurate daily records, including care notes, incident reports, and health observations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care or support role
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A valid UK driving licence is an advantage
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
