Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carers/Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in need, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate professionals.
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
Empathy and patience when dealing with challenging situations or behaviours.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to care provision is desirable.
Previous experience in a support or care role is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
Training in Care Certificate,Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care but will be provided
