Nursing Home Manager – Learning Disabilities – Up to £53,500

Make a Difference in a Specialist Care Setting

Our client is looking for a dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead a small nursing home for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced registered home manager (RMN or RNLD) who is passionate about improving clinical quality, supporting staff, and delivering person-centred care.

Working 40 hours per week, the successful candidate will enjoy a supportive environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with RMN or RNLD qualification (NMC pin required).
  • Proven track record in a care home management role within the healthcare sector.
  • In-depth understanding of mental health, learning disabilities, and complex care.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budget control and business development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Commitment to enhancing clinical quality and resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, compassionate leadership and ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, and compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Manage and develop the care team, offering guidance, training, and supervision.
  • Maintain responsibility for budgets, staffing, and effective resource management.
  • Drive service development, ensuring continuous improvement and person-centred outcomes.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
