Registered Nurse (RGN) – Luxury Post-Operative Clinic – £21.50 per hour – 37.5 hours per week
Our client is looking for an experienced Staff Nurse (RGN) to join a state-of-the-art post-operative clinic, providing high-quality care in a supportive and professional environment. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a rotation of day and night shifts.
The service offers a calm, luxury setting where nurses have the time and resources to deliver outstanding patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgical nurse who enjoys working in a specialised recovery setting and is looking for a rewarding career move.
Due to the location of the service, candidates need to be able to drive to the site.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a surgical ward, theatre recovery, or post-operative unit.
- Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A full UK driving licence is required due to the location of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a post-operative surgical setting.
- Monitoring patients during recovery and responding to clinical changes effectively.
- Administering medication, treatments, and wound care in line with best practice.
- Supporting consultants, anaesthetists, and the wider clinical team.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining high standards of patient records.
- Providing reassurance, guidance, and compassionate care to patients and their families.
