Immediate starts available for experienced Care Assistants with full or part time hours available!!
We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to work afternoons/evenings at one of our nursing homes in the Codnor area.
You will be working in a beautiful care home which caters for up to 42 residents. The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
As a Care Assistant you will be supporting residents in their daily tasks, facilitating hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
You will be expected to complete housekeeping tasks, follow health and safety guidelines, and accurately report condition updates and any incidents to senior staff members.

To apply for this role you must;
- Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
- Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.
This is an ongoing position for work
We have Full or Part time hours available with hours being 14:00 to 22:00 between Monday to Sunday.
Rate of pay is £12.35 per hour
