Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The North School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to lead our successful Geography department from January 2026. This is a full time position, but part time can be considered for the right candidate.
The postholder will provide professional leadership and management of Geography in order to secure high quality teaching, combining subject expertise with a passion for securing the highest outcomes. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geography teacher looking to further their career.
The Headteacher wants to recruit a teacher with an excellent grasp on good and outstanding teaching, confident in their ability and able to consistently deliver effective lessons and learning with a positive approach. In return we offer candidates access to our excellent internal CPD programme, outstanding teacher programmes; outstanding leadership programme and our shadow leadership scheme.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be hard working, flexible and professional. They should have high expectations of students, colleagues and self, displaying energy and enthusiasm in and out of the classroom, contributing to the school’s overall success.
