Salary: Band 2 – FTE £25,584 - £27,711 (Actual £23,207.64 - £25,137.07)

Contract: Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

Start date: As soon as possible

Fir Vale Academy is a large 11- 16 mixed secondary Academy located in the North of Sheffield. We are excited to be part of United Learning Trust, one of the country's leading education groups. We are seeking a committed and compassionate Deputy Head of Year to join our pastoral team and play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of our students.

Working closely with the Head of Year, you will support the pastoral leadership of a year group, helping to maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic progress. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, enjoys working as part of a team, and can build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

You will also contribute to safeguarding practices, lead on student support interventions, and help organise a range of pastoral and whole-academy activities.
