Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a vacancy within the college for a Behaviour Manager. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational person who is committed to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.
Do you enjoy working with young people? Are you able to remain calm in challenging situations? Can you resolve conflict in a non-confrontational way? Are you fair but firm, rigorous, adaptable and resilient? If so, then we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate must be able to build excellent relationships with students, colleagues, parents and outside agencies. They must have a committed interest in maintaining the highest standards of behaviour for learning and enjoy working with young people, some of whom have challenging behaviour. This role will oversee interventions to support positive behaviour.
What the school offers its staff
The Henry Cort Community College promotes and celebrates enjoyment, effort and excellence. We aim for happy students who develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to achieve their goals, gain the best possible outcomes, and play a full and active role in society.
Our ASPIRE values underpin everything we do:
We aim high.
We support each other.
We value effort, every lesson, every day.
We celebrate our differences.
We respect each other.
We can all excel.
Commitment to safeguarding
This college, and Hampshire County Council, are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Check as well as other relevant pre-employment checks including online searches.
