Warehouse Supervisor
Summary
Oversee the efficient movement, storage, and documentation of goods within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Act as a key link between import/export and distribution teams to maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage documentation, records, and product labelling.
- Supervise goods-in processes, pallet labelling, storage, and reporting of damages.
- Resolve shipment issues, including delays, damages, or customs/DEFRA challenges.
- Ensure timely loading/unloading of drivers with correct paperwork.
- Delegate tasks and oversee warehouse staff on shift.
- Maintain health, safety, security, and cleanliness in the warehouse.
- Support food safety policies and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
- Forklift license.
- Previous experience as a warehouse lead/supervisor.
- Knowledge of perishable goods/food handling preferred.
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Security training/screening a plus.
