Summary

Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 Early Years) | £12.30–£13.30 per hour | 40 Hours per week

A well-established and nurturing nursery is looking for a caring and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 Early Years) to join their vibrant team. This role offers the chance to work in beautifully designed playrooms and an expansive outdoor learning space, supporting children from babies through to pre-school.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Previous experience in an early years, nursery, or childcare setting
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Skills: Great communication, organisation, and teamwork abilities
  • Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for helping children learn, play, and thrive

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver fun, creative, and stimulating activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Provide high-quality care and a nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Track and record children’s learning and development through observations and assessments
  • Encourage outdoor learning and exploration in the nursery’s extensive outdoor areas
  • Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times
