Summary

Nursery Practitioner | Level 3 Early Years | Up to £28,000 | 40 Hours per Week



Our client, a nursery with a strong focus on outdoor learning is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Early Years) to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 childcare or early years qualification (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding best practices

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A caring, patient, and creative approach, with a passion for outdoor learning and child development

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain), paediatric first aid, and safeguarding training desirable

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate activities—indoors and outdoors

  • Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through play-based learning

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

  • Build warm, professional relationships with parents and carers, sharing progress and supporting family engagement

  • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are met at all times
