Summary
Welcome Colleague
We are recruiting for Welcome Colleague roles to work for a leading food manufacturer in the Fife area. This is a great company to work for, and after 12 weeks you can be taken on permanently by the client. This role is in a food production environment, working with a great team.
As a Welcome Colleague will need to have:
- Great people skills
- Organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to supervise and motivate staff
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Able to build relationships across all departments
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Inquisitive nature, keen to learn new skills and progress career within the company
- Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential
Welcome Colleague Responsibilities :
- Responsibility for monitoring workers on daily basis
- Ensure first day training / buddying with experienced staff is carried for all new workers
- Monitor individual productivity levels on a daily basis to ensure team targets are met
- Co-ordinate and conduct any necessary re-training for underperforming staff as appropriate
- Conduct Record of Conversation and Record of Counselling for underperforming staff as appropriate
- Identify and resolve any minor problems during the working day
Details of a Welcome Colleague:
- Salary: £13.21 p/h shift + shift allowances
- Overtime: £16.51 p/h
- Shift pattern: Rotating shifts:
- 1st week: Sunday off, Monday 07:00-17:30, Tuesday, Wednesday 14:30-22.00, Thursday 14:30-21:00, Friday off, Saturday 07:00-17:30
- 2nd week: Sunday 07:00-17:30, Monday off, Tuesday-Thursday 07:00-14:00, Friday 07:00-17:30, Saturday off
