Summary

We are looking for a Social Worker to join the Children's Adolescent Safeguarding Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years permanent experience per the new DfE guidelines.

About the Team:

The team works with children under the care of the local authority from ages of 13 upwards, to safeguard them, ensuring their physical and emotional safety, promoting their well-being, and supporting them to thrive in stable, nurturing environments. They work closely with other professionals to assess risks, implement protection plans, and advocate for the child's best interests.

About You:

To be considered, you must have:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience and an ASYE completed
  • Previous experience within a frontline Children's team
  • A full UK Driver's License is essential
