Summary
To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of clinical work, adhering to the NMC Code, Trust policies, and statutory frameworks (e.g., Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act). To ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery in line with NICE guidance, shared care protocols, and evidence-based practice. To safeguard patient dignity, rights, and cultural needs within all aspects of practice. To maintain professional competence by engaging in CPD, supervision, and reflective practice. To act as a prescriber responsibly, ensuring prescribing is within competence and governance frameworks. To uphold standards of record-keeping, clinical audit, and service evaluation, ensuring quality improvement. To contribute to the strategic development of ADHD services and actively participate in governance activities. To foster collaborative working relationships with service users, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. To promote equality, inclusivity, and accessibility across services, staff development, and leadership. To take responsibility for health and safety by reporting risks, maintaining safe practice, and adhering to regulations. To contribute to the Trusts commitment to valuing diversity and preventing discrimination in employment and service delivery.
