Summary
Residential Assistant Positions Available at Ash Field Academy - 1 position available Approximate actual starting salary: £3,181.28 - Grade 7 Pay Point 11 (FTE salary £26,832 - £28,146 per annum) Hours of work: 5.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Working pattern: Tuesday 07.00 - 08.45, Thursday 07.00 - 08.45, Friday 07.00 - 08.45 - Term time onlyAppointment will be subject to Discovery Academy Trust pay and conditions.Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary periodInterview date: To be confirmed

Main Duties and Responsibilities:• To support learning and personal care needs to a group of children with physical disabilities
We are looking for someone who has:• NVQ Level 3 qualification in a care or education related subject (or expectation to complete within 18 months)• Awareness of the need to safeguard children from harm; health; safety and security; confidentiality; and data protection.• An understanding of Safeguarding legislation within education including Keeping Children Safe in Education• Be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and sensitivity when working with vulnerable children and adults
